Dr. Khouri,
I received the CP7 this past monday and began adminstering it to my
rottweiler Oscar that night. He had suffered a stroke in Dec of 2003.
He is able to walk but does not bend at the knees. One leg is affected
more than the other with the toes curling slightly under. That is his
left rear foot. He does not bend at the knees when he walks. He can't
urinate with out being expressed.
He also does not defacate on his own, it is involuntary.
On about the fourth day on the CP7 I noticed him lifting the left leg
while standing. It was as if he was trying to scratch himself. But because
there still is damage, he was only able to lift the leg straight without
bending the knee. The leg came up underneath his belly and his toes
touched the back of his right front elbow. he moved it in an up and
down motion. I didn't think much of it at first, but now he is doing
it more often. It is something that
I've never seen him do. So it seems that something is happening.
