Dear Dr. Khouri,
I wanted to update you on the progress of the dogs I have tried the
CP7 with. One was a 7 year old Male Akita who had been down for 2 months
before he came to us. We used one bottle with him and he progressed
slowly. After 6 weeks with him progressing from no motion and unable
to support weight to motion in water and down to the knees and able
to support weight for 30 seconds, the owners decided on euthanasia.
The second dog we have tried CP7 on is a male old English who had an
FCE, was almost walking again, and had a
second episode (diagnosed by MRI). He was paralyzed in all four limbs
and unable to support weight on any limb except for the left rear. He
has now progressed to sitting up on his chest, some crawling, can use
his left rear limb ( and occasionally another limb) when placed in a
quad cart. And can support his weight in the rear limbs for 3-4 minutes.
We have just finished the second bottle and I would like your input
on how to proceed. Would you be willing to send more to see if this
continues to help Chad? Would like
me to keep him off for a while to see if he regresses? I look forward
to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Laurie
